The Christmas Musicale is presented each year, mid-December by First Baptist Church. Using unique combination of drama and music, we present the good news of Christ's birth to the community.

First Baptist has been bringing this presentation to the Lapeer community since 1982. As people in our community continue to search for the meaning of Christmas or a way to celebrate, we present the clear message of the Gospel - be it through comedy, monologue, or dramatic narrative. There is no admission, and no tickets are required.

The entire church comes together for the production. Between 30-40 members participate in the choir and drama as well as a number of "behind the scenes" personnel who take care of sound and lighting. In recent years the choir has been joined by a talented orchestra of local residents.

Child care is provided for babies and young children.
