Someone asked me this question just two weeks ago. It's an important question and we must go to Scripture if we are to have any real assurance of an answer. I came across this video today of John Piper, pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, MN, explaining how he believes Scripture answers this question. It's a really helpful response and I encourage you to take a minute to listen to it.
