The Church and Interracial Marriage

The issue of race and the church has received a good deal of attention recently, when a church in Kentucky voted to ban an interracial couple from their church. You can read the story here. This issue raises an important question, "How should Christians think about the issue of interracial marriage?"

John Piper, pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, MN, answers that question in this immensely helpful video.

"In this new life, it doesn't matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us." Colossians 3:11 (NLT)
