The Foundations class is taught by Jeff Butler and is open to adults of all ages. Currently, we are in a 13 lesson study of the book of Ephesians. The amazing book of Ephesians was written by the Apostle Paul while under house arrest in Rome. Even though he was imprisoned, he lived above his circumstances. Paul wanted the church at Ephesus to understand how truly blessed they were and to reflect that understanding by honoring God in their everyday walk. Today, in a world full of uncertainty and problems, we can learn much from Ephesians. We too can learn how to live above our circumstances and problems just as the Apostle did, and honor God with our life. The book begins "in the heavenlies" and ends on the battlefield. Come join us for a practical, in depth study of this great letter!

Homebuilders is a Sunday School class taught by Tim Denney and is open to all ages.
Join us for the current series taught by Dr. Brad Burke based on his book "Why Doesn't God Stop Evil?"
How often do we look with dismay at the mess in our world and ask, “What was God thinking?” If there really is a good God up above, why is there so much evil in this world? If God is all-powerful, why didn’t he bind up or destroy the Devil right from the beginning? If heaven is so great, why didn’t God send us straight to paradise and forget earth all together? Where was God on September 11th? And where was God when Hurricane Katrina struck? These and many other difficult questions are tackled head on from Scripture, providing fresh insight into some of the toughest questions ever asked of the Almighty. When the subject of evil is closely examined, we discover that there is a strong vein of wisdom and compassion in God’s justice that Christendom has failed to recognize. |

The Bereans Sunday School class is taught by Rod Hoard and is open to adults of all ages. We are presently studying from the book of 1 Corinthians. The immediate occasion of the Epistle was the letter which Paul had received from the Corinthian church, and to which a reply was necessary. Accordingly he wrote, answering the questions that had been put to him, questions about marriage and celibacy, about food offered to idols, probably also about public worship and spiritual gifts. There were difficulties in the minds of the Corinthian Christians. Paul wrote to resolve those difficulties. Come and join us as we study God's Word together at 9:45 every Sunday morning. |
